Hans Vogels, Executive Chef

Noodle Bar in Toronto is spearheaded by Executive Chef Hans Vogels, who hails from from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Formerly trained with the likes of Susur Lee and Marc Thuet, he found his way to Momofuku in 2012 and has stayed with us ever since. Hans is passionate about Ontario ingredients and food sustainability.

Steve Sousa, Beverage Director

Steven has worked in restaurants since the age of 15, but he became passionate about food and wine after completing his BSc. in Psychology at the University of Toronto. He went on to complete his sommelier diploma with the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers. He has been a member of the Momofuku Toronto team since 2012.

Dwayne Hawkins, General Manager

Born on the north coast of Colombia, Dwayne dove into restaurant life in 2011 and hasn’t looked back. He joined Momofuku in 2016 and spends his days taking on new challenges and learning all that he can about the food industry.
